Alfa Romeo wanted to show off its DNA traction control system. So as Europe is having one of its worst winters on record, it seems like a good idea to put Alfa Romeo Giulietta in an ice rink to prove it can maneuver on the slippery stuff:
The idea is not exactly original. Not only has Top Gear played a full ice ice hockey game using Suzuki Swifts, but Jeremy Clarkson even took a Renault Twingo on an ice rink with an entire hockey team playing around him. So this is at least the third time we get to watch some car not available in the U.S slide around on ice.
Sure the hockey was just a thin excuse for Alfa to demonstrate its DNA system, but this is a lot cooler than some sales training video.
